How to Find Happiness or Don’t Hate Me Because I’m Happy …
How to find happiness is the big question? To find happiness you have to have the time, the money and resources, right? Money can’t buy it, or can it? Or maybe you feel miserable because your life seems to be spinning out of control. Where does the time go and how can I get everything done. I’d be happy with having time for ME!! Do you know anyone that always seems to be happy? Can you think of that certain person that seems to be smiling and unaffected by what you might feel is disaster? How can that be? It does take a certain amount of “intelligence” – not so much the IQ type, but more of the emotional, social and business type. And it does take more than positive thinking…
Happiness doesn’t have to be ever elusive or far off in the future once you feel you have it all – How does one Find Happiness… What are the Keys to Happiness?
You don’t have to be Buddha or the Dahlia Lama to find Happiness. In fact, you can choose to be Happy everyday.
I suggest that happiness is an attitude – a Gratitude Attitude! – a decision that you make. You can chose to be happy – look at things for the blessing or lesson as Michael Beckwith says – or you can chose to let “things” get you down – be negative. It becomes easier with the use of intelligence and does require more than positive thinking, but it truly is your choice. Whatever you chose is up to you, but realize there are consequences – and the effect is widespread – contagious. You affect those around you.
You can chose to be the type of person that good people and “things” are attracted to – or you can become your own lightening rod of misery. As a wise man once told me…“It’s merely a decision. Plain and simple.” Thanks, Dennis!
So what decisions have you made about your life? Are you happy? Where are you now? Are you where do you want to be?
It takes time to evolve into the person we want to be, even if we believe we can do it (Let alone if we are unsure – which puts us in the category where most of us fall). It takes a concerted, consistent effort to move through the steps toward our goals. Or maybe the vision is unclear – something nags at us that there is more that we want to do – but what? And if we know the What, then How do we get there? Who will respect our dreams, support our goals and work toward helping us fulfill our desires? Who will focus on our agenda instead of driving toward their own? This is the purpose of having your own coach. Your coach’s mission is to respect, support and move you forward toward the very vision that you seek. It’s all up to YOU – but we’re here to help!
